New Prayer Room For Our Prayer Warriors
Thursdays at 7:30 pm/Intercessory Prayer
The Prayer Room is located next to the Drop Spot for Jesus Place. Ask a minister to direct you. It is open to anyone and everyone. Prayer is a fundamental part of our relationship with the Lord. This team meets weekly to pray for guidance for our church members, leaders, and specifically for each member who requests prayer for individual needs. Anyone is welcome to join in this vital ministry of our church. You can submit prayer requests on the bulletin inserts or by contacting our church office. KidZONE News
We need you to “Get in the Zone!”
The following are needed:
• 9:30 hour: K/1st grade teacher
• 11:00 hour: Kingergarten teacher
• AND 3 2nd grade (OR 3rd grade) teachers
• We need 1 person to help maximize our worship
experience and to run our A/V system.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES
Women’s Bible Studies:

Dorcas Woman’s Circle Meetings:

Café Playgroup for Moms & Tots on Tuesdays at 10:00 am

Be Creative at The Gathering
Saturday, May 15 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
A day to get together and bring your portable hobbies. Some examples are quilting, crocheting, needlepoint, scrap booking, jewelry making, embroidery, drawing/painting or even if it is just a gift for gab, you are welcome to join us in fellowship to get to know other women within our church. Women’s Brunch

This year’s theme is, “A Gathering in the Garden.” The deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, May 5. The cost is $10 per person. Ages 5 and up are welcome. Conference Weekend
“Over the Top” is Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth. Join us for a remarkable weekend. A two day event where you will laugh, cry and realize that you’re not alone. Heart-felt, hilarious messages, gripping drama, and amazing music by Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman and Mandisa. Speakers include: Patsy Clairmont, Marilyn Meberg, Anita Renfroe, Lisa Whelchel, Sandi Patty, with special guest speakers Nicole Johnson and Andy Andrews. April 25-27 Chattanooga Trip. Cost is $225 per person for double occupancy. Deposit of $100 is due February 28. Final payment of $125 is due March 28.

May 25 Lunch at the Bulloch House & Antique shopping in Warm Springs. Meet at the church at 9:30 am. The cost is $13.50 for lunch plus gas & shopping money.

June 22 Tellus Museum, Cartersville. Cost is $10 plus lunch & gas money.

July TBD Medieval Times summer matinee.

August 20 Talladega Speedway and Desoto Caverns

September 28 Lancaster, PA trip. Cost is $521 per person for double occupancy.

October 19 Apple Trip

MISSION and OUTREACH Opportunities
Jesus Place. Every fourth Sunday of the month, a group of volunteers goes to Jesus Place, a homeless mission in inner city Atlanta. If you are interested in being part of this outreach, please contact Donna Martin at 770 487-3988. Jesus Place is especially in need of shoes, book bags and jeans or work pants. The Jesus Place mission committee from PTC3 is asking for new or gently used jeans or work pants for the month of January

Fayette Samaritans Bring canned and dry goods in any time; drop items off at the Mission DROP SPOT just inside the doorway of the multi-purpose room. This helps local families in our community.

HeroBox for Service Personnel Be part of HeroBox, an effort to send comfort to our servicemen and women here and overseas. Join us the last Sunday of each month to stuff boxes. We meet at our HB offices: 135 Howell Road, Ste C, Tyrone, GA 30290. Please bring items for snacks, hygiene and entertainment. First Portion Each week this ministry delivers meals on Wednesday nights to local families. We can use people in the kitchen to help prepare meals or people to deliver and to visit with others. This is a great ministry to share in as a family.

We need your help! Our church operates twenty–one Ministry Teams that serve in our community and around the world. We invite you to participate and to get involved in sharing Jesus Christ with others. NO job or contribution is too small and NO job is too big if we work together. Please check the bulletin boards for volunteer opportunities or call our office. We need you!
