One must wonder where the idea originated
it’s a part of our everyday life…the majority of it has become so “ordinary” or the “norm” for our lives that we have become numb to most of it. But this wasn’t the way it was intended to be. From the very beginning God intended it to have purpose…to relay thoughts and ideas to those around us…the question is: where did it go wrong, when did it stop becoming full of purpose and start being useless noise? I know you hear it…it’s the mechanical radiant energy that is transmitted by longitudinal pressure waves in a material medium and is the objective cause of hearing….you hear it at this very moment….its Sound.

Sound changes us. It causes our reactions, breeds intense emotions, and has the ability to calm our deepest fears. Sound, when created in fluent harmony can change the way we view our world. The challenge is to find the harmony amongst the chaos, to drown out the noise and dial into the sound that enables clear thought and sincere peace. This ability seems to be increasingly absent among the student culture…constantly they are surrounded with the noise of apathy, materialism, and ecstasy. It becomes difficult to hear pure sound; the mass confusion enables poor decisions that while made in a split second, can create consequences that last well beyond their senior pictures, prom, and graduation parties.

If only we could change the world with good intentions…if we could merely wake up tomorrow after dreaming the world back to right and have everything change…that would be nice. However, due to reality being as real as the chair you are sitting in (or floor you are standing on) it takes a little more than dreaming and good intentions. Our vision is to provide an environment in which students can hear God speak, feel his intentions for their life, and make Him known. It is our passion to enable students to eventually make the sound that does the world changing, that provides the clear thought and sincere peace. We invite you to experience the process of relearning how to filter the Sound. Expect big things…anticipate new expectations…it might even be a good idea to invest in a good set of ear plugs…this will be a sound so loud, so huge…you will feel it.
